Book a Week in 2007: Week 4

This week, it's A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon.

Last week's read ended up being How Opal Mehta Got Kissed, Got Wild and Got a Life by Kaavya Viswanathan. I'm a big fan of Megan McCafferty's novels, so I was interested in reading the book that caused all the controversy. The style was very similar to McCafferty's, for sure, but I think I need to re-read Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings to see the connection. Overall, I thought the book was all right. It was funny, a little extreme in examples at time, but nothing I couldn't wrap my suspension of disbelief around.
